OVERVIEW
Entered F1 for the first time in 2002, and have gradually improved season on season. Early season results weren't spectacular, with the team scoring handfuls of points, despite having one of the largest budgets in contemporary F1.
2005 was a big step forward, seeing the team secure Ralf Schumacher, and Jarno Trulli. The Mike Gascoyne designed car was a huge improvement. In Trulli's hand the car flew in the opening rounds, securing front row starts in the first 2 races, and podiums at Bahrain and Malaysia. He also took the teams maiden pole at the USA GP, but as we all know, was one of 14 drivers involved in the Michelin boycott.
However Ralf Schumacher finished ahead in the drivers' championship with numerous finishes in the points.
The team finished fourth in the 2005 championship, a huge improvement from 8th in 2004, and introduced a B spec car in time for the Japanese Grand Prix, featuring many of the 2006 car features.
2006 promises to be another step forward, with promising testing results.

TEAM LOWLIGHTS: Pressure from Japan to do well, amount of money spent so far with no win. Inconsistent Trulli, question marks over Ralf Schumacher's ability.
